Kitchen Garden Reloaded Design

After 3 years of working with the original design, now in 2021, I have managed to save some money to invest in an updated version taking the original elements of the design and improving them with the help of some money.

This design was always going to involve some physical work in creating it. As always my optimism led me weekend after weekend of endless work to complete the design before the growing season.

For the design process I've used PRIME, Problem, Research, Ideas, Make, Evaluate.

Here I will take a look at the existing design and look at what needs to be improved.

RESEARCH

Using different tools including permaculture ethics and principles, I will gather the information to enable me to plan the new design of the garden.

IDEA

In this section, I will use the findings gathered so far to draw up some ideas, taking the most relevant into the final design.

MAKE

Time to order the materials and put the design plan into action.

EVALUATE

A valuable part of a design is to step back, take a look at what has worked well and what could be improved.
